5 Secrets Behind Effective Terrace Waterproofing

Step 1: Deep Cleaning of Terrace Surface
We start by thoroughly cleaning the roof or terrace to remove all dirt, oil, dust, cement flakes, and old paint.
Loose particles are scraped off manually.
The entire surface is pressure-washed to ensure it’s clean and ready for waterproofing.
Step 2: Crack Repair and Sealing
All visible and hidden cracks are treated carefully.
A groove of 3–4 mm is made along the cracks using a hand grinder.
A mixture of PSv waterproofing chemical and water is poured into the grooves to penetrate and seal deep inside.
For leveling, a paste of PSv + white cement is applied and smoothed with a putty blade.
Cracks and wall joints are then reinforced using a 4″ PPC mat with PSv for added strength and flexibility.
